HAR GHAR TIRANGA, 2022 / हर घर तिरंगा', २०२२

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. Students, staff members and teachers held the national flag and participated in a ‘Tiranga Rally’ with patriotic slogans started from AECS-2 and around Anushaktinagar colony with the idea to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the students & public and promote awareness about our national flag.

NATIONAL UNITY DAY - RUN FOR UNITY / राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस - रन फॉर यूनिटी

Dear Students, “Manpower without unity is not a strength until it is harmonized and united properly, then it becomes a spiritual power” - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is observed as National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas across India on 31 October every year. Principal Shri B.Venkanna, AECS-2, Mumbai flagged off the celebrations with a ‘Run for Unity’ by our students and teachers around the Anushaktinagar residential colony spreading the message of unity. Teachers and students took the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge to withstand the greatest threat to the country's security, integrity, and stability. Principal Sir communicated to the students to appreciate the value of synergic effort rather than individual effort so that students return to society as ambassadors of unity, peace and safety. Shri. V P Varghese delivered a speech on the life, history and the role of Sardar Vallabhai Patel in the freedom struggle to establish a harmonious society and the importance of celebrating the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Though short, yet significant programme evoked the spirit of “Ekta” amongst all.

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS - कारगिल विजय दिवस

Dear Students, Our flag does not fly because the wind moves; it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it. AECS-2, Mumbai solemnized 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' to reminisce India's war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country. Essay writing and poster making competitions were organised to represent the life of Indian soldiers during the Kargil war. Short Video Documentary on Kargil Vijay Diwas was presented to the students. Shri. Rajveer Tanwar, Vice-principal appreciated & applauded the initiatives and efforts of the students.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS @ AEES - गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह [ 2020 ]

Dear children, Every year Republic Day is celebrated in India on 26th January with zeal and enthusiasm. It’s a day to honour the Constitution of independent India. Republic Day is celebrated all over India with great gratification and joy and to mark the importance of this occasion, the grandest of parades takes place at Rajpath, New Delhi. Our NCC cadets, Students and Band of AEC Schools/JC, Mumbai are no less at spectacular parades in Anushaktinagar on this day. On this day, let’s recall the true heroes of India who sacrificed their lives to give us freedom. Happy Republic Day

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS – 2021 @ AECS-2, MUMBAI / स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह - 2021

Dear Children, The Independence Day of India is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on August 15 every year and AECS-2, Mumbai also celebrated it in a glorified manner. India’s Independence Day reminds the country’s citizens of all the sacrifices the freedom fighters have made to secure the country’s future. We as Indians pay respect to all the leaders who fought bravely for our nation's freedom in the past.

CHAIN REACTION (CYCLOTHON) - AWARENESS ABOUT NUCLEAR ENERGY AS CLEAN, GREEN & SAFE ENERGY RESOURCE.

Dear Students, Senior Scientists of BARC cycled for 1700 km started from India Gate in Delhi and concluded at the iconic Gateway of India. The Cyclothon crisscrossed five states- Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat & Maharashtra. The campaign was to spread awareness about nuclear energy as clean, green and safe energy resource. The team received an overwhelming welcome from the students and staff of AECS-2, Mumbai. Students with Dr. R.Stylemon Pillai cycled with the team to AEJC showing their solidarity for the cause and message of Atomic Energy.
