Dear Children,
In India where the cases of gender violence are on rise, out of which so many go unreported, self-defence for both men and women has become a basic requirement. A recent study states that 72% of children do not know how to react when subjected to violence. As a result, they became easy targets for sexual and physical violence. The students of AEC Schools, have displayed their training skill and physical prowess on 26 January 2023 at AEJC ground. Through the self-defence training, the girls are taught to become psychologically, intellectually and physically strong enough to protect themselves in times of distress. To be precise, empowering girl children with these self-defence techniques will blend with education. Important values and principles can be learned, such as hard work, dedication, and perseverance, as well as the importance of maintaining personal relationships. Self-defence is a holistic approach based on mixed martial arts, a composition of techniques taken from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Jujitsu and Kickboxing.
